Disneyland Paris (formerly Euro Disneyland) is Europe's most visited theme park resort, located in Marne-la-Vallee about 40 minutes east of central Paris. The resort includes two parks: Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park (being renamed Disney Adventure World in late March 2026). Height requirements at Disneyland Paris are posted in centimeters. We've included both metric and imperial measurements below.

Disneyland Paris posts all height requirements in centimeters. Key thresholds: 81 cm (32 in), 102 cm (40 in), 120 cm (47 in), 132 cm (52 in), and 140 cm (55 in). Indiana Jones et le Temple du Peril at 140 cm has the highest requirement of any Disney park worldwide.

Disneyland Park Height Requirements

Disneyland Park is the original park at the resort, opened in 1992. It features a beautiful Sleeping Beauty Castle and many classic Disney attractions adapted for European audiences. Phantom Manor (the Paris version of Haunted Mansion) and Pirates of the Caribbean both have unique elements not found at other Disney parks. Of the park's 12 active rides, 7 have no height requirement. The standout thrill rides are Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain (120 cm / 47 in) and Indiana Jones et le Temple du Peril (140 cm / 55 in), which has the tallest height requirement at any Disney park in the world.

Tips for Visiting with Children

Disneyland Paris is very family-friendly and easy to navigate with children. The resort is accessible by TGV train (Marne-la-Vallee/Chessy station is right at the park entrance), making it convenient for families traveling from elsewhere in Europe. Both parks are compact compared to Walt Disney World, so you can realistically see most attractions in one day per park. English is widely spoken by cast members, and all signage includes English translations. The parks offer a Rider Switch service at rides with height requirements.

Best Times to Visit

Disneyland Paris is busiest during French and UK school holidays (February half-term, Easter, July-August, and Christmas). Weekdays outside of school holidays offer the shortest wait times. The parks have seasonal hours, so check the calendar before your visit. Winter months (January-March) have shorter operating hours but much lighter crowds.
