Tips for International Visitors
Shanghai Disneyland is accessible via Metro Line 11 (Disney Resort station). The park offers signage in both Mandarin and English, and many cast members speak some English. The Shanghai Disney Resort app is essential for checking wait times and booking Disney Premier Access. The park can be very crowded on Chinese public holidays (Chinese New Year, Labor Day week in May, National Day week in October), so plan accordingly. Weekdays during the school year offer the best experience.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for the Sunken Treasure is a must-do for all ages (no height requirement). Peter Pan's Flight at Shanghai uses a unique ride system different from other Disney parks. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train (97 cm / 38 in) is a great first coaster for kids. The Voyage to the Crystal Grotto boat ride through the castle gardens has no height requirement and is especially magical at night.
